We would like to thank Ian so, so much for acting as our celebrant at our wedding. The whole process of meeting and getting to know Ian and the service he would provide, was made very easy. All of our guests commented on how great Ian was on the day, in terms of what he told everyone about us during the ceremony and how it was delivered. Some people went so far to ask if he actually was a friend of ours that they hadn’t met! He really seemed to get our laid-back feel and knew enough about our relationship and the characters we are. Ian made us feel very at ease on the day itself too. We chose to have an informal, personable and upbeat style of ceremony, which Ian helped us to achieve very well.

I cannot recommend Ian enough! At our first meeting with Ian we felt at ease immediately; it must be his simple and easy going attitude... he was ready to get to know us and wanted to know what we had in mind for our ceremony. I am originally Somalian who was born in Kenya, and my husband is from Sudan and grew up in Dubai for all his life from childhood, and we are both Muslims. So I wanted a modern beach wedding with a blessing ceremony; we didn't do the normal ring exchange, as my husband is allergic to jewelry, so we decided to have the sand ceremony and Ian was open and excited to help us with ideas for that. He got us sand and gave us the idea of using more than two different colors of sand, and a neutral brown color that represented where we met, in the desert sand of Dubai! The blessing ceremony was beautiful and perfect! Ian was able to capture what we wanted, our introduction and story was well written and Ian was in communication with me constantly to check if we liked the writing or if there was any changes required. In the end our guests' hearts were filled with love and tears of happiness!

Ian is very much the professional but relaxed celebrant you would want for your wedding. From the planning ahead of the wedding to on the day, Ian was thoughtful and put us at ease. Ian brings ideas where you don’t have any or struggling, collaborates but is flexible. Throughout he shows his number one objective is doing the ceremony the way you want it. Communication way was clear and easy and although we were not in the same location it was not a problem through Skype calls. The rehearsal put us at ease and Ian was flexible in his approach taking in the surroundings and adjusting style and content accordingly. Ian came to see us before the ceremony which put us at ease. We felt in safe hands and it was one thing we didn’t worry about on the day. Ian’s words were beautiful and fitting for us, the surroundings and the audience. It felt personal. Overall Ian helped create an meaningful, unique and original ceremony that we both enjoyed thoroughly. Would highly recommend for your ceremony.
